Marketing Automation Specialist, Sydney

The Role:

We’re seeking a full-time Marketing Automation Specialist to join our established Sydney-based team. In this unique role, you will help build and scale Blackdot’s Marketing initiatives globally, whilst also working with tier-one clients on consulting projects – meaning no two days will ever be the same!

On the internal side, you will leverage our MarTech platforms to optimise content and campaigns, uplift the customer experience and support our integrated marketing and sales ways of working.

As for the consulting aspect of the role, you will apply your expertise to cross-industry organisations on projects focused on omni-channel strategy and implementation.

The Ideal Candidate:

We’re looking for a results-driven digital marketer, with 3-4 years’ practical experience using CRM & automation platforms. To be successful, you will have a solid understanding of how these tools can be leveraged to uplift the customer experience and drive commercial outcomes. Given the hybrid nature of this role, you will have the ability to balance multiple projects and appreciate a fast-paced environment – where the opportunity to grow is limitless.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Play a key role in the planning and execution of global campaigns, considering the digital experience for our audience
  • Support the creation of innovative thought-leadership content, leveraging multiple mediums to drive customer engagement
  • Contribute to the ongoing evolution of Blackdot’s digital marketing and technology ecosystem to uplift the ways of working across Marketing, Sales and Consulting
  • Assist with regular reporting and optimisation of Blackdot’s marketing initiatives to inform campaign decisions
  • Contribute to the delivery of consulting projects as a marketing SME, spanning digital transformation, micro-journey execution and Marketing and Sales integration
  • Keep abreast of emerging trends and share best practices knowledge and insights

Skills and Experience:

  • 3-4 year’s hands-on experience with CRM & marketing automation platforms
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing, technology, business, or other associated disciplines
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end campaigns
  • Deep understanding of digital channels and marketing metrics
  • Basic knowledge of HTML & CSS preferred, but not essential
  • Experience across the Microsoft Office suite – particularly PowerPoint
  • The ability to work autonomously to meet deadlines
  • Proven experience managing internal and external stakeholders
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
