Global Expansion Triggers Recruitment Ramp-up and Graduate Program

As Blackdot embarks on an exciting growth trajectory with expansion in both APAC and EMEA, they are currently ramping up recruitment activities and expanding capabilities across the board in preparation for high profile global projects.
Talent acquisition is taking place across all levels, as Blackdot seeks out the very best Associate Sales Directors, Engagement Managers and Consultants that Australia has to offer. They have also set up an internal graduate program aimed at on-boarding high calibre, ambitious graduate Analysts who are willing to seize the growth opportunity and learn on the job.
To kick-off the graduate program, Blackdot recently exhibited at the career fairs of two of Sydney’s most prestigious universities – Sydney University and NSW University. Several members of the Blackdot team took turns in meeting and greeting hundreds of students who were specifically looking for a career in management consulting and also a good number of those interested in the marketing and sales industry. All in all, over 200 students in their penultimate and final years submitted an expression of interest for a career at Blackdot.
The interview process for the graduate program is a hearty combination of traditional cognitive assessments and contemporary speed dating style talks, followed up with a case study session and finally rounded off with a meet & greet drinks event for the lucky candidates who make it through the interview ‘boot-camp’. Blackdot is stringent about who they hire and in their own words “…are looking for the best talent out there to continue providing our tier-one clients with the level of service and character they have come to expect from us.”
To facilitate both the recruitment and the graduate program, Blackdot have appointed Darrshana Antony as Talent & People Manager. Darrshana is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience across a wide range of operational and strategic human resource functions and industries and has joined the Blackdot team to manage all aspects of talent, people and culture.
